Zhou Qihong, Secretary of Guangde Municipal Party Committee, visited Anhui Gongtang Intelligent Technology Production Base for research and guidance.

On the morning of October 17, 2025, Zhou Qihong, Secretary of the Guangde Municipal Party Committee, led a delegation to visit the Phase I production base of Anhui Gongtang Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Gongtang Technology”) to conduct research and provide guidance. Liu Zhixin, Chairman of Gongtang Technology, and Chen Qiang, President of Gongtang Technology, accompanied the delegation throughout the visit.

During the visit, Chairman Liu Zhixin briefed Secretary Zhou Qihong on Gongtang Technology’s development history, business operations, core values, and future development plans. Currently, Phase I of Gongtang Technology’s production base has commenced operations, with 12 production lines planned and an estimated output value of 2 billion yuan. The topping-out ceremony for Phase II of the production base was successfully held; this phase is planned to include 20 production lines, with an estimated output value of 3 billion yuan. Construction on Phase III is progressing steadily.

President Chen Qiang led Secretary Zhou Qihong and his delegation on a tour of Gongtang Technology’s production facilities. In the Phase I production facility at Gongtang Technology, automated production lines were operating smoothly. Modified plastic pellets undergo precision processing to become high-end materials suitable for use in automotive interior and exterior trim, packaging for daily chemical products, electronics and appliances, and new energy storage, among other industries.

Secretary Zhou Qihong inquired in detail about the R&D process and market feedback for Gongtang’s products. Upon learning that the company had achieved a breakthrough by independently developing a core formula that “matches the performance of imported materials while costing significantly less,” Secretary Zhou Qihong commended Gongtang Technology for its deep commitment to the field of high-performance materials and its proactive exploration of the future development of modified plastics.

This research initiative is not only an “assessment” of the company’s development but also a vivid example of government-industry collaboration to advance industrial upgrading. Moving forward, Gongtang Technology will continue to rely on technological innovation as its core driving force, accelerate its progress in the high-performance modified plastics sector, and write a new chapter of mutual growth and prosperity between the company and the city through superior products and higher output value!
